2019 Winter/Spring NAMI Family to Family Education course January 26th – April 13th.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. It is a designated evidenced-based program. Research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to an individual living with a mental health condition.

NAMI Family-to-Family is taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there, and includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises.

NAMI Family-to-Family not only provides critical information and strategies for taking care of the person you love, but you’ll also find out that you’re not alone. Recovery is a journey, and there is hope.

The group setting of NAMI Family-to-Family provides mutual support and shared positive impact—you can experience compassion and reinforcement from people who understand your situation.

The sessions will run 10:30am to 1pm on Saturdays starting January 26th at the NAMI Finger Lakes office at the Clinton Hall, Suite 2 – located at 108 Cayuga St, Ithaca NY.  Call 607-835-6712 to register.

Mar 5 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Family and friends of people with mental health disorders are invited to meet with us to chat about your situation. All members of NAMI-FL have relatives diagnosed with major mental illnesses, and we know the heartache and stress you are going through. We’ve found that simply talking about the situation is a great emotional release. All conversations are kept confidential.

Clinton Hall is the large red brick building next to the Clinton House, the building on the corner of Seneca and N. Cayuga.

We are located in the middle of the block between State and Seneca Streets, above “SewGreen”.

There are two entrances to the Clinton Hall:
• Front entrance: Use the grey double doors in the middle of the “SewGreen” storefront. After going up one flight of stairs to the 2nd floor, turn left. We are in Suite#2.
• For elevator access from street level: Go to rear of building via red brick driveway separating Clinton Hall and Clinton House. Turn left at the back of the building and use the second set of doors. Once inside, use the elevator on the left to go to the 2nd floor. Turn left, then right to Suite #2.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
